Frostfighter - Frost Blanket

• Convenient roll sizes designed for a 30-inch bed:
  • All rolls are 120 feet long and 90 inches wide. Fits perfectly with Kwik Hoops
• Recommended overhang at the end of rows:
  • 5 feet when using hoops
  • 3 feet when laid directly on the crops
• All covers are made from UV-stabilized polypropylene. If handled and stored gently, it should last for several seasons. 
• Note: Frost cloth is not designed to be stretched tightly and doing so can result in tearing. Please treat gently.
• Level 1- 0.45 oz - 15gsm - Row Cover
•  Frost Protection: Minimal - less than two degrees. Primarily used for insect protection while providing a wind buffer.
•  90% light transmission
•  Fabric weight: 15gsm (grams per square meter) ~ 0.45 oz/yd²
•  Equivalent to products such as "AG-15"
•  Treat gently to avoid tearing fabric.
•  UV treated and should last up to two seasons when handled and stored carefully. Less durable than InsectaNet.
• Level 2- 0.55 oz - 18gsm - Frost Blanket
•  Frost Protection: Standard - keeps temperatures 2 to 4 degrees higher than outside conditions and creates an excellent microclimate for plant growth. 
•  85% light transmission
•  Fabric weight: 18gsm (grams per square meter) ~ 0.55 oz/yd²
•  Equivalent to products such as "AG-19"
•  Treat gently to avoid tearing fabric.
•  UV treated and should last up to three seasons when handled and stored carefully.
• Level 3- 0.90 oz - 30gsm - Frost Blanket
•  Frost Protection: Medium - keeps temperatures 4-6 degrees higher than outside conditions and creates an excellent microclimate for plant growth. 
•  70% light transmission
•  Fabric weight: 30gsm (grams per square meter) ~ 0.90 oz/yd²
•  Equivalent to products such as "AG-30"
•  Treat gently to avoid tearing fabric.
•  UV treated and should last up to four seasons when handled and stored carefully.
• Level 4- 1.50 oz - 50gsm - Frost Blanket
•  Frost Protection: Heavy - keeps temperatures 6-8 degrees higher than outside conditions. Used for heavy freeze protection.
•  50% light transmission
•  Fabric weight: 50gsm (grams per square meter) ~ 1.50 oz/yd²
•  Equivalent to products such as "AG-50"
•  Treat gently to avoid tearing fabric.
•  UV treated and should last up to four seasons when handled and stored carefully.
• Level 5- 2.0 oz - 70gsm - Frost Blanket
•  Frost Protection: Standard - keeps temperatures more than 8 degrees higher than outside conditions. Used for overwintering in very cold climates.
•  30% light transmission
•  Fabric weight: 70gsm (grams per square meter) ~ 2.0 oz/yd²
•  Equivalent to products such as "AG-70"
•  Treat gently to avoid tearing fabric.
•  UV treated and should last up to four seasons when handled and stored carefully.
